The Code of Federal Regulations at 45 CFR 302.56(e), requires each state to review, and revise, if appropriate, the child support guidelines established at least every four years to ensure that their application results in the determination of appropriate child support order amounts. Georgia’s Child Support Guidelines statute, codified at O.C.G.A. § 19-6-15, became effective January 1, 2007. The members of the Child Support Commission are provided on this page along with the final reports from previous Quadrennial Reviews of Georgia’s Child Support Guidelines and Basic Child Support Obligation (BCSO) table. The latest Quadrennial Review was conducted in the year 2022 and may be reviewed below under “Economic Study Final Reports.” The next review will be conducted in the year 2026.
